User Ratings Business Requirements
TripAdvisor (user ratings) quick A/B test requirements defined by the Product team:
Problem We’re Addressing: Users are presented with poorly rated properties at the top of the Search Results Page since we currently sort by distance to city center. User don’t understand the current sort order and there is no way for them to find higher quality hotels.
Hypothesis: If we sort our search results page by TripAdvisor score, users will have the ability to find highly rated properties and it will also give the franchisees an initiative to keep their properties up to brand standards

If I’m right then…users will be more inclined to book by finding properties they are willing to stay in.
